Our School

In this state-of-the-art career and technical school, approximately 700 students choose from the following career pathways: automotive technology, carpentry and homebuilding, cosmetology, culinary arts, electrical technology, general construction, maritime pipefitting, maritime sheet metal, maritime welding, media arts, pastry arts, pre-engineering and PTECH information technology. Personalized learning through the Summit platform combines with hands-on learning, with help from community partners such as the Brown Robotics Lab, Tech Collective, Electric Boat, IBEW and LIUNA. English as a Second Language (ESL). PCTA offers English as a Second Language (ESL) instruction and is home to both inclusion and self-contained special education programs.
