English Department

Welcome to the English Department!

In the English department, we want to prepare students for college and life after high school.  We want to make lifelong readers and writers, as we know, the pen is indeed mightier than the sword!

We also offer a collaborative college course through Rhode Island College for the 12th grade.  At the end of four years at PCTA, students will have read a multitude of novels from throughout the world, and written a variety of essays.
